SMS Varanasi got 31st All India Rank in B-School Ranking

Maintaining its upward spree, the School of Management Sciences (SMS), Varanasi has earned 31st rank in the latest B-School survey conducted by ‘Business India’ (Dec18-31, 2017 issue) which shows further consolidation of the private B-Schools in the country. In Uttar Pradesh SMS Varanasi falls next only to IIM-Lucknow.

This ranking is achieved by efforts of wonderful performance by SMS Faculty members since 1995 coupled with powerful infrastructure in terms of amenities and facilities which is being utilized effectively. SMS Varanasi happens to be one of the few Institutions in the country to publish four Research based journals in different areas of professional education, two of these, ‘Management Insight’ and ‘Purushartha’ are internationally indexed, such credentials mostly rest with public sector Institutions.

SMS Varanasi provides value based education since inception perhaps that could be the reason for students patronizing the Institute. The placements too have considerably swollen in terms of both numbers and package this year.

The Institute has also performed on several parameters like Educational Industrial trips to national and international corporate houses, Wi-fi campus with over 400 terminals hooked on to the Web round the clock, Guest lectures and workshops, national and international Seminar and Conferences, academic tie-ups with foreign Universities of America and Europe etc. The Central Library is also fully computerized with a store house of over 35 thousand books in addition to e-journals and other online materials.
